Longest Night Service

Join us on Friday December 19th in the evening at 7:30PM in the Sanctuary for our Longest Night Service. We recognize that Christmas and the holidays can be challenging for our mental, physical and spiritual health, and often what we feel inside is at odds with the festivities around us. This service gives us all an opportunity to express those feelings and to reflect, meditate and pray, and to find hope in the midst of darkness.

Incorporating gentle music, interactive meditation stations, live art and visual projection, the service this year will be a space for exploring sacred movement and Christian meditation. Service will be followed by light refreshments afterwards in Room 305.

Collection for the Big Give-Donations Accepted May 25-June 6

On June 7, CPC will share the unconditional love of God with our neighbours through radical generosity. Gifts of new and very gently used items strictly from the collection list will be accepted starting May 25 to June 6.

Bring your gifts to church on Sunday or arrange drop-off during the week with Linda Lee in the church office (office@torontocpc.com or 416-977-5625). Gifts of free services like hosting a photo booth, plant care, pumping up bike tires, games, or arts and crafts are also welcome. Donation List Items for The Big Give: Saturday June 7, 9am-1pm

Join us in loving our neighbours and our neighbourhood through extravagant giving in Jesus’ name: donate new or gently used items from the collection list, provide a free service like nail painting, offer a craft, music or art tutorial, volunteer to host a table, lead a game, set up, clean up, pray, and spread the word. Your church and your neighbours need you. Plan ahead on how you can extend the love you have received with your gifts to our community.

The Big Give: It’s all FREE - seriously! Saturday June 7, 2025, 9 am – 1 pm

The Big Give's mission is to share the unconditional love of God with our neighbours through radical generosity with no strings attached and asking nothing in return. In partnership with TCBC, Cornerstone Montessori Prep School, Cornerstone Community Centre, Good Tree Korean Presbyterian Church, and the Toronto Japanese Christian Community, CPC will host our neighbours for food, drinks, services, games and goods, all for FREE-seriously.

Good Friday Combined Service, April 18, 11:00 AM - a foot-washing service to commemorate the humility of Jesus and His unconditional love for us.

Easter Sunrise Service*, April 20, 7:30 AM at the CNE - a joyous declaration of Jesus' resurrection and His victory over sin and death. Breakfast at church.

*If you need a ride, inform Linda at church office and be at the church by 7:10 AM

Easter Cantonese Service, April 20, 10:00 AM - a celebration of our faith in the power of the living Christ.

Easter English Service*, April 20, 11:30 AM - a testimony of our hope of eternal life through our risen Lord.

*No lunch on Easter Sunday. Lunch will resume the following week.
